Students are assessed in scholastic and co -scholastic areas throughout the year. The progress of the student is judged through continuous academic performance during the year and comprehensive evaluation.<\/p>\n<h6><b>Academic year has two terms:\u00a0 First term \u2013 April to September and Second term \u2013 October to March.<\/b><\/h6>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5><b>Weekly and Summative Assessments<\/b><\/h5>\n<p>Classes 4 &amp; He will have to score qualifying grade D in all the subjects.<\/li>\n<li>Admission to class IX in a school shall be given to such a student who has passed class VIII examination with minimum grade \u2018D\u2019 in all scholastic subjects.<\/li>\n<li>If a student of grade VIII scores less than grade D in the improvement test, the school has to detain that child in eighth class.<\/li>\n<li>A student must have attended school with minimum 75% attendance to be eligible for promotion to the next higher grade.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h5>\u00a0<\/h5>\n<h5><b>Class IX<\/b><\/h5>\n<p>As per the Assessment structure and examination pattern of class IX, students will be assessed on the entire syllabus of the Academic Year.<\/p>\n<p>Promotion to the next class is subject to the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>A student must secure 33% marks out of 80 marks in each subject in Annual Examination conducted by the school.<\/li>\n<li>It is also mandatory for the student to secure 33% marks out of overall 20 marks (Internal Assessment) in each subject.<\/li>\n<li>Students to obtain a minimum of 75% attendance to be eligible to appear in final examination.<\/li>\n<li>In case any student does not meet the above criteria the student will be detained in the same class.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5><b>Class XI<\/b><\/h5>\n<ol>\n<li>\u00a0 Promotion is granted on the basis of the performance of the pupil during the entire session.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 A student must secure at least 33% in all the subjects individually and in aggregate in theory as well as practical subjects separately for fulfilling the pass criteria.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 In case the pupil has secured less than 33% in one subject only and 33% and more in all other subjects in theory and practical examination separately, pupil will be eligible for \u2018Compartment\u2019 examination.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 In case the student has secured less than 33% in two or more subjects, pupil will not be eligible for \u2018compartment\u2019 examination and will be detained in the same class.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Students to obtain a minimum of 75% attendance to be eligible to appear in final examination.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h5>\u00a0<\/h5>\n<h4>Innovative Practices Adopted<\/h4>\n<p>The overarching theme of the education policies is to achieve quality and innovation and to move from rote learning to knowledge transfer.
